To edit this photo, I used Photoshop Elements Editor.
I opened my original photo in Photoshop Elements Editor under the "Guided" tab at the top.
On the right side menu list, I selected the "Photo Play" option and then "Picture Stack." With the "Picture Stack" option I used the 8 pictures option to break the original into 8 separate pictures. After selecting "Done" I went to "Puzzle Effect" and selected the "Medium" sized puzzle pieces for the picture.
In order to modify the images into a file smaller than 100K, I went to "Image," "Resize" and "Image Size" on the toolbar where I adjusted the size of the image. I altered the wIdth to 375 and height to 245 in the pixel dimensions. I shrunk the document size to a width of 1.322 and a height of 0.776. The resolution I knocked down to a 300. I finally uploaded the images into a new wiki page.
I encountered multiple challenges editing this photo. Editing this photo had to be the most enjoyable part because I was able to be a little creative with it. It was tricky to adjust the pixels and resolution of the image in order for it to be able to fit the required size under 100K. I learned how to alter images to fit my liking which will help me send images easier of the web. I found it fascinating that the Photoshop Elements Editor had a wider array of photo effects to allow the user to have more of a variety.
