Caption Adding Process
I decided to add captions to my introductory video for EDET 603. To do this, I had to go to "Video Manager" on my videos page. I then selected the drop down arrow beside the "Idot Introduction 2 video" and selected "Subtitles and CC." After selected the preferred language, I was able to add timed captions which I was able to show text along with what I was saying in my introduction. YouTube allowed for the video to stop when I decided to add a caption during a time within the video. After I added my desired captions I simply clicked "Publish" to save the changes made to the video.

Challenges/Successes
One challenge that I encountered when adding captions came when I reviewed the video after my first addition of the captions and I realized that they didn't align with what I was saying in the video. After publishing my video after my first edit, it took me some time to discover how to correct the captions and found out that I had to actually click on the selected language to access the captions that I placed in the video. From there I was able to lengthen the amount of time that the caption stayed on the screen and drag it to where I wanted it in relation to what I was saying. I was able to successfully drag my captions and stretch them to exactly where I wanted them. Getting rid of the given captions was also easy in which I was able to delete them and replace them with the caption that I wanted.
